from football as what you have is hard - I know because I had it for 15
years! Best wishes and I hope you get over this."

"I know all about ulcerative colitis as I contracted it in my late
teens. I am now 60 and have been free of it for 30 years. I am married
with two children and play golf three times a week so there is life at
the end of the tunnel. Good luck for a full recovery Darren, from a
lifetime Red."

want to sound biased but there is a reason why Fletcher is likened to
the best box-to-box midfielders in the world. My hope is that he can
recover and show what a leader he is. His enthusiasm is always
infectious."
Man Utd for Evra: "Fletcher is a
vital player because he is so willing to play for this club and he seems
to be such a down to earth man. He's the modern day Paul Scholes as he
isn't fussed about the media and seems so focused on playing for
Manchester United."
